Get In Touch
Stuck on a substitution? A dish that still tastes wrong after three attempts? Spot a flavor vector that is off? Write to me — I read every message and answer the cooking questions personally.
What Helps
Send Me Enough to Work With
The more context you include, the better the answer. A one-line question gets a one-line reply; a photo plus a recipe gets a real diagnosis.
Send photos and context
A photo of the failed dish, the bottle, or the label plus the recipe you followed helps me actually diagnose the problem.
Corrections welcome
If a flavor vector, substitution score, or technique detail is wrong, tell me. This site is built to be corrected.
Reader stories matter
The best content on this site started with a reader question about a substitution or a failed dish.
FAQ
Before You Write
A few things worth knowing about how the inbox works.
Do you reply to every email?
I read everything that lands in the inbox, and I personally answer ingredient, substitution, and failed-dish questions. If you include a photo and the recipe, you will get a much more useful answer.
Will my question be published?
Only if you give permission. Reader questions regularly become guides and fixes, but never without explicit sign-off.
Do you take guest posts?
Not currently. The site has one editorial voice: the kitchen scientist who built it. If you have a correction or a competing data point, that is more valuable to me than a guest post.
Is this where I report a broken link?
Yes. A quick note with the page URL helps keep the knowledge graph clean.
Ready When You Are
Ingredient questions, failed dish photos, corrections, partnership inquiries — all of it lands in the same inbox.
